#1 Practical Strategies for Safe & Sustainable Dam Management Training 7:45 – 8:15 AM Registration & Networking / Course Start Time 8:30 AM – See the training topic outline here. Lunch included and .6 CEU’s available.
#2 – Vendor Training Sessions (8 concurrent sessions) 8:45 – 9:45 AM Registration & Networking / Course Start Time 9:45 AM – Join eight industry-leading manufacturers and suppliers for practical, hands-on training sessions designed specifically for water and wastewater operators. Topics include water meters, municipal pipe & fittings best practices, MJ fittings and restraints, metering pumps, Inserta-Tee installations, pressure management, hydrant maintenance, and bolted coupling applications. Gain practical knowledge, earn EOCP continuing education credits, network with peers, and explore the latest technologies at the trade show. Lunch is included and .5 CEU’s available. Fri Oct 30th: Full Day of Speakers. Program is being finalized.. tentative topics include the Bald Range Fire in Summerland; water supply and regulatory updates; BCWWA Collective Partnerships; Forests as infrastructure, changes in the New Forest Act; procedures for small water & wastewater systems; 2026 Drought and the impact on farmers in the N. Okanagan and the Province’s direction on water security… to name a few!
