Annual Conference a Success
Our Annual Conference held recently on October 18th & 19th at the beautiful Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson, BC had a great turnout. Thanks to all delegates, presenters and trade show participants for your efforts in making it a success. Darwyn Kutney, from Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District was elected as a director for a 3 yr. term, so welcome Darwyn. 30 operators attended the Dam Safety and Maintenance Session on October 18th, conducted by Will Jolley, Provincial Dam Safety Head. The trade show that followed was a great networking opportunity for all, which was followed by the banquet, where Don Dobson from Urban Systems was presented with this year’s award for being an outstanding industry contributor. See our 2012 Awards for a picture of the award presentation.
